Just call me "Crazy Hair James"

Do you think he needs a haircut? The girls have already put headbands in his hair. :)

10 1/2 inches of Hair Donated!

Madison finally got her haircut. She donated 10 1/2 inches to Pantane Beautiful Lengths. We decided on Pantane rather than Locks of Love because Pantane wigs are free and Locks of Love charges. Here are some before and after pictures.

Of course, after Madison got her haircut, Norah had to get hers done!

And then, we can't forget about James!

Madison is Learning to Read

Madison loves library day. Today she brought her book home and wanted to read it to her sister and brother. How precious!

1st day of kindergarten

We sent our oldest baby off to school today. Here are some pictures of her waiting for and getting on the bus.

Kindergarten Open House

Last night we took Madison to the kindergarten open house. They were able to bring all their school supplies so the parents could help put them away and then they took a school bus ride. Madison was so excited! Here are a few pictures of the event.

Has it really been almost two months???

To the few people that actually check this...I am so sorry it has been so long since I posted a picture. Here is a picture of Madison, Norah, and James. Madison starts kindergarten tomorrow and has been asked to bring in five things that tell about her. So, she is taking this picture to show off her little sister and brother. As you can tell by the picture, James is gaining weight like a champ now. In fact, he just finished a 7 oz bottle in one sitting. More pictures tomorrow...(hopefully!)

2 Month Check Up

James went to the doctor today for his 2 month check up. Here are his stats.

Weight: 9 lbs. 12 oz
Height: 23 3/4 inches

He falls in the 10 percentile for weight and 85 percentile for height. This means he is really skinny and really tall for his age. They are a little concerned about his weight so, we have an appointment to meet with a lactation consultant next week. I really don't think there is any problem other than he will be too tall to get into a race car and just right to play basketball.

Decorate Your Own Cupcake

We decorated cupcakes for snack/Madison's birthday today. Here are a couple pictures.

New Pictures of James

I took these pictures of James today. I put him on the scale today and he weighted 9.2 pounds. Yeah, finally well above birth weight! The top pictures gives you a really good idea of how long his arms and legs are. I have a feeling this boy is going to be really tall!

Madion's 5th B-day Party

We had Madison's 5th birthday party today. She requested a bowling party, so that is what we did. Here are a few pictures of the big day.

A Princess Party

The girls were invited to their first friend's birthday party. The theme was princess and each girl was to come dressed like a princess. They had such a great time! (pictured above...Madison, Birthday Girl Bailey, & Norah)

It's Been Awhile...

Sorry I haven't posted pictures in a long time. It's been crazy around here. Summer has started and I now have 16 kids at my house everyday. So, I will try to take pictures and post more often, but no promises. :)

Cuddle time with the boy

This is one loved boy. Daddy and big sister are making it very hard on mom. They are spoiling him to the point that he never wants to be put down. Of course, I love to hold him too, it's just that with the daycare, it is not possible to do all day. Oh well, there will be a point that he won't want to love on us, so I guess we better take advantage of it while we can!

Here we caught James sucking his thumb. We ended up giving him a pacifier at the hospital when he was being treated for the jaundice, so the thumb is not as important to him anymore. :)

Part of the treatment for the jaundice was to supplement formula for 24 hours. Madison took advantage of this time to feed her little brother.

James under the Phototherapy

It's been awhile since I posted and I finally got around to getting some pictures downloaded. I am posting some of the pictures we took of James while he was being treated at St. John's Children's Hospital for jaundice. I think one of the worst parts of watching him there was the mask he had to wear. By the time we got around to taking these pictures he had already pulled the IV out of his head so lucky for you you don't have to see that unpleasant site.
